Question about Panasonic RQ-CR07V Personal Cassette Player

Open Question

Want to know the tuner's limit noise sensibility and selectivity

Hi, No problems at all:I am positively impressed by the PANASONIC RQ-CR07V stereo cassette player. The sound is neat and full despite the device's small size. I would like to know what is the limit noise sensibility and the selectivity of the tuner, especially on MW. Such data are not shown in the product specs of this type, as a rule.
But the player's sound quality is clearly above the comparable products.
Thanks!

You're on the right track. That panel is the waveguide cover.

This is usually due to grease or food particles stuck to the inside of the oven or stuck on or behind the waveguide cover in the waveguide just out of sight.

It can be fragile, and the metal edges behind it can be sharp, so be careful!

The cover and the metal behind it should be cleaned with a mild, non-ammonia cleaner.

If the cavity metal of the oven is chipped or charred, it will have to be sanded smmoth and clean.

Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart or Lowe's.

If your waveguide cover is burned, it will need to be replaced.

I have a panasonic SA PM91D stereo system and have lost the remote moving recently. Does anyone know a manual way to select and program radio/tuner stations without the remote.?

Hello
I think that you haven't the operating manual to your Panasonic system. I've the manual to your system, but I can't send it to you by this site, as it does not allow me to upload any files by it. If you send your email address by Fixya comment box, I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail, which have all details you need. OK.

Hello
Check its audio settings. If the 'balance' control is at its one extreme, one speaker of that side son't work. When you select 'tuner' the the set sutomatically goes to 'Mono' [according to selection]; and both speaker will work. Check if stereo option is activated in its audio option first. If not, select it to stereo, dolby digital or so what you want ot hear. If all selections are OK, and still the problem perists, its digital processing section should be troubleshooted. Actually this is not a user repairable option. Contact any experienced service personel or Panasonic Authorised Service Center at your town. OK.

I want to purchase (new condition if possible) a Panasonic regular cassette tape recorder model RQ-A200. Are any available through ebay. If not can you refer me to a seller. Thank you

Hi,

There is one available (very cheap) at eBay UK but that seems to be the only one on sale there anywhere in the world and they will only ship within the UK.

If you would like me to look for alternative options, please let me know your location and I will try to locate one for you.

Humming noise through Tv speakers. Goes away if I mute sound?

If the noise is coming in through the onboard tuner then repair may the only option. If you have a DVD or VCR and can connect the line level inputs (look like stereo connections) then do so and use that input, if the sound persists there then it is likely the audio circuitry - also a repair item.
Bypassing the TV sound system involves connecting your cable box, DVD or VCR (using the tuner from that unit select channels) audio output to a stereo system and then the TV becomes a big monitor (picture only)

Look in your area for any good cassette player they all can play the c90 tapes. All you have to do is have a cassette player. Large stores that have stereo dept. would be a good place to look where you can also hear them to see the sound quality.
