The smoke comes to my w124 230e, on pipe. and the sparkplugs died cause of engine oil but the car doesnt overheat on its temperature guage

You have a blown head gasket and are almost out of coolant in the radiator. You need to get this fixed right now or the engine will overheat and fail.

you my have thick smoke coming out of your tail pipe or oil leaking out on to your engine

The white smoke is probably steam caused by coolant getting into the cylinder(s) either from a faulty head gasket, cracked cylinder head or cracked engine block. The loss of heat from the heater indicated that coolant was being lost..

Low oil level can cause an engine to run hot but the pressure must be extremely now for that to cause a rise in operating temperature. Naturally, if the temperature is high on the guage, the engine is already overheating, and there are a multitude of reasons why an engine could overheat, from silly things like low tyre pressures to low coolant levels and water leaks. If you like, come back with some more specific information and lets see if we can put a finger on your problem.

One potential cause is too much gas. It may be running "rich". Your car may also be burning a little oil. White smoke is water or antifreeze. If you are loosing coolant from the radiator, it's probably a blown head gasket. If not, it is just condensation in the exhaust pipe that is evaporating as the pipes heat up. If the car is running too rich, the unburned gas will cause black smoke and burning oil smoke will be blue.

Most Jeep overheats I've seen are either caused by poor radiator flow or the electric fan not coming on. You could have a malfunctioning thermostat and they are inexpensive so replacing it isn't a big deal, They become unreliable after an overheat also...another reason to replace it.
Obviously, you need to check for external leaks, oil in the coolant/ coolant in the oil or white smoke from the tail pipe (all signs of larger problems.)
Most shops use a heat sensing gun to check for cold spots on the radiator.
One clue to poor flow is if it takes a long time to fill it. To check the fan, watch it and see if it comes on when it should.

Ok this one is kind of hard to diagnose but maybe I can give you some answers. The 2 problems you have work hand in hand. If you have low oil level the heat in your cylinder walls raises because there is not enough oil to lubricate the fiction caused by the pistons going up and down. Secondly if your car overheats it gets so hot that the oil gets really thin thus viscosity break down occurs. Your Honda has an electric fan on the radiator and if this fan is not working your car will overheat. Crank your car with the hood up and let it idle till the temperature gauge comes up and the electric fan should come on. You will be able to hear and see this happen. If the temperature guage keeps climbing and the fan has not come on then turn your AC on and see if the fan comes on. They are tied together and when the AC is on the cooling fan switch is bypassed and runs all the time. You also have a oil pump in your engine that keeps the oil pressure moving inside the engine. If this is going out it will cause the oil light to come on and make your engine overheat. I am sure you have checked the oil level and the coolant level in your car but if you haven't please do that. I hope this helps you out to find your problem. Oh yea if the coolant fan comes on when the AC is turned on then you have a bad sensor and you need to replace that. In any case I would not drive it until you figure this out because it will for sure cause engine damage. Good luck, Roger

white smoke is you car burning water but you know that it sounds like you have ahair line crack in you engine block it doesnt show till you sit still the presure on your engine is pressing your block or head together keeping it from leaking but at idel it starts to leek what is the color of you oil if it is brown or milky that most likely the problem. they make a tester the you put on you radiator to dee if it bubbles if it does you have a blown head gasket or a cracked block or head. might want to look for an engine replacement. you can try liquid glass but it is only temporary and will ruin your engine in the long run. i dont recomend it but it can work for @ 200 miles if your luckey

Never seen oil come from tail pipe (unless a piston has a broken ring or a hole burned in it.) Cooling sensor tells the computer the engine temp and the computer turns the fan on through the fan relay. Very important for it to work. A blown head gasket will make the engine overheat, can cause white smoke from tailpipe, coolant loss and extremely rough running. Also can cause coolant in engine oil or oil in radiator. What you may be seeing may be water mixed with carbon from the inside of the pipe. Excessive water coming form pipe is also a head gasket symptom. A compression test or cylinder leakdown test or a radiator hydrocarbon test will tell you if gasket has failed.

One thing that may be causing problems for you, and it would probably be the first thing I would check is your catalytic converter for being plugged. Engine bogs, and manifold red hot, temperature light, would be reason enough for me to get that checked. Years ago, you could buy what they referred to as a test pipe, for that, which was basically a piece of exhaust pipe put in place of converter, which I suspect any custom exhaust place with bender, can fabricate for you, if necessary. Check oil & coolant levels too, as oil may be experiencing premature thinning due to excessive heat, as well as coolant level going down. Hopefully if it is confirmed converter is problem, we caught it soon enough .
