  • In one respect, the patient cable is the most important part of the system; it is most frequently at fault when the machine fails to operate properly.
  • Several different patient cable configurations are used in ECG recording. Some are constructed of two pieces that plug together. While others are one piece.
  • Two piece units are generally more expensive initially but often prove more economical in the long run because breakage most frequently occurs at the electrode connector end of the cable.
  • This end can be replaced at a cost that is somewhat lower that the cost of a one piece cable.
  • Additionally a two piece cable allows the use of differents types of electrodes.

With leads hook correctly machine contuines to flat line

Check your RL (green) lead or trunk cable.

Right leg is the ground so (if it's bad) you won't get a QRS complex.

My Fukuda cardimax fx-7102 sometimes have grounded electrodes and does not print very well. The printout is very thick which almost cover the whole paper. It does not also function when using the battery...

You have to check the battery of you machine. it is recommended that you have to take ECG with battery backup. you should use AC line only for charging the battery. When you take ECG when the machine is plugged in to the AC you should provide good grounding to your machine. there will be provision for grounding in your machine. when you use the Ac line and if the grounding is not proper then the machine will print AC interference with ecg. that's why the printout come thick. Try to change the battery for better ECG print out.

It has "ra" at the bottom of the screen and is not

RA - Right Arm - This lead is the ground on a 12 lead ECG. If it is displayed then your RA leadwire is probably bad. To verify this as the problem, swap the leadwire between RA and V1 then hook it up to yourself or a simulator. If all the leads work (except for V1) then you know that you need to purchase a new lead wire. Also, Check your patches to ensure they are not dried up (if this is an intermittent problem).

Hello. thanks for choosing fixya. Here is the best way to do an inside corner:
For an inside corner joint, square-cut the first piece of molding and **** it tight into corner.
1. Miter-cut the second piece to 45 degrees.
2. Highlight the leading edge of the molding with a pencil.
3. Cut along leading edge with a coping saw.
4. Smooth the cut edge with 100-grit sandpaper to create a tight joint
