Question about Quasar VM-L450 Camcorder
I have the same problem. It's a palmsight pv-l757. Was working fine until the battery went dead. Finally got a new battery after a few months and then it started powering off shortly after powering on. I also tried hooking it up to the wall outlet and it did the same thing.
Tried: New Battery
Tried: PowerCord attached to wall outlet
Buy a new camcorder???? Did that but still want to find out what happened to this one.

I have the exact same problem. It worked fine until the tape ran out. I even tried running it off the DC power cord instead of the battery. It seems there is something else wrong with it.

It sounds like the battery is flat - I realise that you've probably already thought of this, and charged up the battery, however batteries have a finite life and number of charge cycles they can go through, and may appear to be fully charge (According to the charger, at any rate), but they are unable to hold any decent charge. My suggestion would be to head down to the local camera shop, and ask if you can try a new battery in-store.
