You can not use a 4gb on the iden i880 phone. The most you can use is 2gm that should be enough memory unless you want a lot of stuff on the crad you wont even use that much. The 4gb are the HC which is high capacity and the phone will not read it. Just buy 2 2gb memory cards and you decide what info you want on each or get a different phone...

To put songs into your i880 i would just use the usb cable to connect it to your computer.

Once you are connected look for it as a removable storage on your computer, which you can find in My Computer. Open it up and you should see 3 file folders (Image, Audio, Video).

Just copy and paste your media into the appropriate folders.

If you don't have a USB data cable, you can simply buy a card reader from any local electronic store. Make sure its able to read SD cards. Also make sure you have an adapter for your Micro SD so that it may be read in the SD reader.

After that just follow the steps above.

Micro sd adapter i keeps in camera it is shows card locked

SD and Mini SD memory cards has a small slide switch on the edge of the card, which write protects data on the memory card or add photos to the SD card. Slide the switch from the LOCK position to the UNLOCK position, which is furthest away from the contacts.

I inserted kinston 4gb card in my digital camera , while in the unlocked position of switch. But camera shows "memory card error" "card locked"

  • There is a write-protection tab on the mini sd card HOLDER. Every time you insert this into your PC or card holder, this tab slides to the write protect position. Either keep resetting, inserting & reinserting until it doesn't slide or tape it down.
  • There is nothing wrong with the mini sd card. Simply locate the write protection key and push it.
  • The mini sd card has some error: Go for a low level formatting.
  • The card has virus: Remove the virus. The link for the steps is present in the related link at the bottom of the article.

Camera will not accept any memory card over 2GB. Keeps saying "Memory Card Error"

Most new 4GB and larger cards are SDHC cards (look on the card). Although they look exactly the same as a standard SD card, they are not. Unfortunately, there is no way that these cards will work with your camera, as it was designed before the SDHC format came out. As you've dsicovered, 2GB and less are standard SD cards, and will work with your camera.

There were a few standard 4GB cards produced a few years ago, most notably by ADATA (I have one that I use in my A620). Unfortunately, these are rare now, and are somewhat expensive if found on eBay.

    Mp3 memory expansion

Yes there are other mini SD cards with higher memory but before you purchase be sure its compatible with your player. You can also save your songs or other datas in your computer, if you dont have other options. you can change the songs that are saved in your player using your computer in that way you dont need an extra SD card.
