Question about Fuji FinePix F700 Digital Camera
All functions semm to work, except the taking of a picture. The monitor shows settings, but not the view of a picture. Flash works, no picture is save to floppy. I have replaced battery, and floppy, did not cure problem. Monitor function indicates picture taken, but is black. No image appears on monitor in any moide. Tried formatting floppy, did not help.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Fuji should fix this for you for free. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

From the symptom it indicate that the lens module is faulty,you need to replace the lens module. most of the digital camera the lens module is very costly.
