I was just messin around with my phone today, and I went to Datebook, and when I tried to exit out to the home screen, it froze to the point where I couldnt turn it off unless I took the battery out. So I did so, then tried to turn it back on when I put the battery back in, and it started up, went to the little motorola sign that it goes to when it powers up, and freezes there. I put it on the charger and the battery charges just fine and the *#end button reboot thing works too, it just doesnt get past the blue motorola picture. WHAT CAN I DO! THE PHONE IS ONLY A FEW MONTHS OLD!!!

I'm certainly not a gamer, but in this case try restarting the iPhone.
If that doesn't help remove the app and do a fresh re-install from the app store. In-App purchases can be restored. I'm not sure if you retain your game status - again i'm not a gamer.
I had the same problem with mine. I actually just got back from taking my phone to Verizon to see if it could be fixed. The tech told me that it is internal and that they would just have to replace the whole phone :(
You need to a fresh restore of the iPhone. Hold down the home and power buttons together until the screen goes black. Then while the screen is still black, plug it into your computer WHILE holding down the home button.
At this point iTunes should detect your iPhone and tell you that you need to do a restore.
Hope this helps!

Something like this happened to me except my phone would not stop ringing an screen went all balack both sides... Try leaving your phone until the battery dies then charge it fully before turning it on it has helped me numerous times before.... reset button still works on mine it is like a miracle spot actually
