Tonylpaul, Try mouser .com catalog pages 1282 thru 1291 You should find something that will work. Also visit YOUTUBE and search for lcd monitor disassembly videos to see how to get the thing apart. I'm louie12fix on fixya or lmistyrel@ aol.com Note: Is the switch Truly BAD? Did an elephant step on it? HMMMM ??? I wonder if this DELL has a power supply (internal) problem????

Tv power button

It seems that the micro-switch to turn on power is damaged. It can be replaced, and can be bought from most of the electronic spare part selling shops. De-solder out one among them as sample, because, pin configuration should be identified when you buy it. It wont cost more, a cheap component.

HP deskjet 3054 broken power button

Hp's usually have a micro switch underneath the power button. You probably just broke a support arm or type device. You might be able to super glue the piece back together and make it work. In my experience, this usually works about 40 percent of the time. Usually by pushing to ******* the switch to break the plastic you could have possibly damaged the small micro switch. My best suggestion is take it apart and try the super glue fix first. Good Luck!!

Microphone/L button

sounds like your mic is disconnected or broke, it is a very small micro mic internally attached by a small wire. this wire could be broke.

For your L button, sounds like this is not making contact with the micro switch, sounds like you will have to take this baby apart to fix both issues.

If you have a DS lite the L and R buttons can be very fiddly to seat in place when putting it back together, the springs are fiddly. I would recommend bending the leg on the spring downwards so it seats in nicer when looking to reassemble.

Good luck

Power Switch for this PC?

I've read your question & am still confused about which switch you need. I'm guessing that it's the power switch on your case that is broke? If so you can go to just about any auto parts store & buy a push-button two wire off/on switch. Even in a Low's store. It may or may not fit just perfactly on your case but it's better then turning the power off with a pen directly off the motherboard. Been down the road your on. It's either this or buy another case. You will not find your case a new switch. You can use your case's wiring connector to plug into the board listed on pg. 1-18 in your manual. It's two pins. You can splice the two pin connector from your case to a new switch's wires. As far as connectors go. You can buy a small pack of single connectors for a computer from radio shack to connect to the boards (power) ATX power switch. All the parts shouldn't cost you more than $10.00. Cheeper than a new case!
