Question about Kodak EASYSHARE V1253 Digital Camera
I have the same problem on my camara. Is there any fix for this problem or do you cut your loss and throw it away.
I hope this works for you; I had a similar problem with an HP camera. Please get back to me so I can alert the 50 other people with this problem if it does work :D
IF the camera isn't in warranty, then twist the large inner cylinder gently until it retracts while it is on.
If this fails, then unscrew four screws from the base of the camera and three screws from the side. Pry it apart and clean the circular metal bit which is underneath the selection dial with a soft cloth. Rescrew the camera casing together.
