The buzzer on most Kenmore dryers is a separate 115V AC unit, and can be unplugged (be sure your power cord is disconnected!)
-- better yet, you might find an older style replacement door chime that is also a 110-115V unit, attach the wiring to this unit and have
a rather melodious or at least just a pleasant "ding-dong" chime instead of the obnoxious buzzers that all the companies seem to be using today.

Where is the door buzzer located

It is probable that the switch involved in inside the door. In that case, it will be a _big_ job to disconnect it. If that is the case, you could try locating the buzzer itself (somewhere under the dashboard) and disconnecting it, with the hope that the buzzer itself is causing most of the battery drain. The switch in the door will also cause drain, but perhaps not a lot, and perhaps not at all once the buzzer is disconnected.

I hear a buzzing sound from a relay ...what does that mean

Most commonly, you have an actual "buzzer".
That means this part is doing what is was made for.
It migh be telling you your key is still in the ignition, your door is open, your lights are on, you need to fasten your seat belt, or any of several other things.
I don't know what year, make, and model your pick-up is, but different trucks and models have different "buzzers".
If the sound irritates you, you might be able to "unplug" it.
Be sure not the throw it away, in case someting on your truck requires that buzzer to be in place to work.
Be blessed.

How do I stop my bosch washing machine beeping at the end of the wash cycle?

If the machine is still under warranaty contact seller and get it fixed; if you do something inside, like disconnecting something yourself, your warranty will be invalid for further work. If its out of warranty get teh wiring diagram on line and isolate part making sound/buzzer, experiment taking wring connectors from spades. If machine is ok with them disconnected, which I would assume, then you have solved it. If not insulate or perforate sound maker/buzzer to lessen noise

Is there any way to turn off the buzzer when the drying time is over...or at least turn it down?

If the model number you have this listed under is correct, there is a buzzer module located inside the control panel. It is a fixed module, which means it cannot be adjusted. So, if you wish to get rid of the noise, you will have to unplug it. All you should have to do is UNPLUG the dryer and remove the back of the control panel. Disconnect any leads from the buzzer module and wrap them each in electrical tape to keep them insulated.

If you go to you can view what I am talking about. The buzzer is listed as item 12 under the "Backsplash, Blower and Motor Assembly" heading. When typing in your model number use "DBXR463ED0WW. The digit before the that two letters is a "zero", not the letter "O".

If you have questions, or if you have not provided the correct model number, pease post back with the correct information so that I maybe able to assist you better. I hope this helps you.

Turning the beep off?

1Turn off and unplug the dryer. Since you need to remove the front panels and expose the electrical wiring of the dryer's buzzer you should turn the dryer off and then unplug the machine to avoid shocks. Once the dryer has been unplugged, turn its dial to the "on" setting to make sure the dryer is completely powered down. Step2Locate the buzzer. The best way to locate the dryer's buzzer is to check the machine's schematic or manual. The buzzer is usually located behind the front panel of the machine. In some cases the buzzer is located behind the dryer's back panel. Dryer buzzers are generally small black boxes that are wired to the timing device. Step3Pull the buzzer's wires. The most simple way to deal with a buzzer is to pull the wires that run into the buzzer. The wires should pull free with a firm but careful tug. Once you've disconnected the wires from the buzzer simply run a good amount of electrical tape over the ends so that no live wires are exposed. If you want to get the wires out of the way, tape the wrapped wires to the top or side of the dryer panels. Step4Test the machine. Once you've yanked and taped the buzzer's wires, plug the dryer back in and turn the machine on to test the buzzer. If the machine still buzzes at the end of the cycle then you removed the wrong wires. However, chances are that the machine will finish its drying with a quiet whimper instead of a loud buzz. jQuery('.Article .Steps .Image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

Kenmore Series 70 Dryer Buzzer won't stop buzzing - Model 110.96573220

  • the buzzer is located under the control panel.
  • you can unplug it.
  • unplug the dryer or turn the breaker off first
  • then take out the 2 screws on both sides of the control panel
  • bull it forward toward you and unhook it from the case
  • you should see the buzzer with two wires going to it
  • only need to disconnect one.
  •  just make sure you wrap the bare wire connector with electrical tape to keep it from touching metal.
