- Recently moved to a new place the tv was working right before the ove and now the red light is stuck on when i plug the unit into the wall, but nothing else happens after that doesnt turn on no picture nothing all lights inside the tv are green but one red led in the back of the unit fuses look fine any suggestions? thanks in advance. - fitness_andyMay 19, 2008
- Pressing power button in front doesn't do anything. Pulled back cover and small red led dimming location PQD1 pd06. Checked 2 small fuses on power input board and seemed fine.- vnmachineSolution #1

Check and see if lights on board in back of set, if non then look for fuses in power supply.

What blows E994 pico fuse in Hitachi rear projection tv's?
A 102K/2KV capacitor near flyback xformer,usually C702.
Replace with 102K/3KV for durability.Sony # 1-161-754-00.
Same part shorts out in Sony big screen....Ex.==C514 in some
models....T.
