This is usually because the wrong driver is installed for whatever reason. To resolve this issue, remove the modem, and then restart the computer.
When the computer restarts, Windows detects the modem and attempts to
install the correct driver for it. To do this, follow these steps:
Log on to the computer as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Phone and Modem Options.
Click the Modems tab.
In the The following modems are installed list, click the modem that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
Click Yes in response to the "Are you sure you want to remove the selected modem(s) from your system?" message.
Restart the computer.
The Found New Hardware Wizard starts. Follow the instructions in the wizard to reinstall the modem.
You might have installed the drivers recently with the "found new hard" wizard without selecting "No, Not this time".
Once the "found new hardware" wizard pops up, don't close it or cancel it, rather leave it and directly go to your device manager, expand all the snap-ins and locate any device link with yellow highlighted question (?) mark. Make sure in which device's category it is listed, and install the driver from the "found new hardware" wizard by selecting "No Not this time only" before you proceed to the next step.
fist of all if it is saying that it is trying to install the video controller and u need to check the very first thing is that u the display of ur computer is fine or not and if it is fine then dont worry about this popup and then u need to right click on my computer and then click on manage and then device manger and then click on device maanger and then check for the video controller option and check it out if there is any red x or is there any yellow exclamation mark on it and if it is click on top of the page that says install or something like that it says scan for hardware changes and then it sould be ok and then restart ur computer, and now the computer should be ok u will not get any popup or what u can do is u can do the msocnfig, click start>run>type msconfig>click services>click hide all microsoft>click start up>click on disable all>click apply>click close.....restart the computer and it will be ok.....good luck try it out....
Try this: disconnect the player from the
computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to
the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume +
button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into
recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found
New Hardware Wizard.
To install that printer, connect the data cable (Maybe USB?) to the PC and follow the instructions on the "New Hardware found" wizard, then supply the CD that came with the printer and make the wizard look for the drivers there. When the HP install program pops up (Gray sandglass), choose "Decline" or "Not agree" to the terms of the license and continue with the "New hardware wizard" installation. The printer driver will get installed and none of the HP useless programs.
