Okay... with limited information I'll give it a shot...
Depending on the age of your tv, sometimes they have multiple input options. Since you are referring to hooking it up with cable, I'm guessing that you are using a coaxle for your super nintendo. The easiest way to get it hooked up it to upgrade to a 3-prong AV cable. You can find them on ebay for about $2.
If you don't have any open inputs on your tv you will need to either continuously change what is connected to the tv (unlikely) or buy an RF switch from any store that sells electronics. I think they are running $20 or less now adays. (They are worth the cost because they allow you to connect DVD player, VCR, game component, etc all using one input on TV.)
