You can remove screws, pull apart and clean contacts with cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. this should cure the problem. If this by slight chance didn't work, than it may be an electronical or programming error

The volume on my sansa clip 8gb is too low. I have tried the solutions given on here for this problem but they don't work as there is no option under settings for either volume, or reset. The only option...

Found this in one of the other posted problems, and it worked for me. kanturner

My 8Gb Clip did the same after a firmware update. Apparently it's due to new EU regs about MP3player volume limiting. To fix select 'reset all' (note any settings you want to re-set later), after reset, select your language and then set region to 'Rest of World'. Sorted!

Sansa Clip 2Mb Volume control will not increase volume ... only decrease.

You should update new firmware at http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/
If the device still has problem, check the volume button.
Good luck

I cant turn volume up on my sandisk clip

My problem seems to be a damaged volume button. Once I tour the volume down (the down button is fine) I could not increase back de volume.
This is a palliative sollution. You need to reset you Sansa clip to get the volume set to the "middle" of the range. To steps are:
1) clique in the "home" button.
2) navigate to "settings"
3) select the "Reset All" option and confirm it.

Sansa clip 2 gig computer doesnt find

This is the method that will force Windows to recognize the Sansa: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
