Usually this is caused by a USB printer unnecessarily clamoring for attention.
Disconnect ALL your USB devices and the problem ought to go away. Then connect them one by one to find out which the culprit is.
To zap PRAM, shut down the Mac, then push the start button and immediately hold down Command-Option-P-R until you hear the chimes pass by three times. But I don't think this will affect your problem.

You may be using Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse. In many cases these cannot "Wake Up" the computer as they are only normally active while the computer is fully on. You may be able to adjust this in you BIOS. You can get into BIOS by holing down certain keys whilst the computer is starting. I think that HP uses F10

My camcorder won't work with our apple mac g5-cs3 computer

The problem is not with the camcorder. The problem is with the capture settings.
You can capture video via firewire or USB. Imovie has a capture mode that syncs with nearly any camcorder. Roxio Toast will also sync with a camcorder. Be sure the camcorder is connected and that the computer recognizes it. It may take a few on-off cycles to sync itt.

My computer i in sleep mode

Sounds like it is locked up. There should be a power switch on the back. Switch it off, leave it off for a few minutes, then turn the back power switch on again and push the front power switch. If no rear switch, pull the plug. Windows doesn't like hard power downs, but if your system won't recognize the keystrokes or mouse movement, tere is nothing else you can do.

Apple mac will not stay in sleep mode

Make sure you do not have wake up on lan enabled in the network settings a good way to even do this is unplug or disconnect the thing from the internet. Wake up on land will wake the computero ut of sleep mode each time a packet is delivered to it.

Thanks I hope this helps.

Why my MAC G5 turn off when the sleep mode is on

You may have your energy settings set to turn off the Mac after a specific time of inactivity. The power on / off option is in the Schedule button in the Energy Saver pane in system preferences under the Apple menu.

IMac bluetooth mouse won't move cursor

Did you seperately setup the mouse? Even if you have, go into the Bluetooth preferences under System Preferences. Select the mouse & delete it. Setup a "New Bluetooth Device" and select "Mouse." Be sure to press the Reset button for 2-3 seconds to get the mouse into "Discoverable" mode. Your Mac will then setup the mouse automatically.
If this does not work, the Bluetooth chip in the mouse may be defective.

I have a G5 Mac with a Power PC Dual Processor. When my computer seems to be doing too much it goes to sleep mode. At first I thought it was a over heating issue and then I thought it was a power issue...

check the setting of the G5, you might have it going into sleep more sooner than expected.

also g5 do tend to heat up, check for burned capacitors, also the fans has to be running at a certain speed, the computer will tell you if it in sleep mode.

click on apple logo / system preferences and display

it should be there

ATI X800 XT Mac Edition and Mac G5 boot troubleshooting

I have the same card and many of the same issues.  I got an RMA number and had to contact ATI after "Clear Business Days" to get a status report.  Having finally gotten a response, I find out that it will be 10 to 12 WEEKS before the card comes back.
Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase this card again.
