Try updating your audio codec. Here is a link that has been proven to help many. Good luck! http://www.bytescribe.com/downloads/tsp_codec_install.exe after installing above codes restart your computer and change your connection to no proxies under preferance tab.it will work

If you wish to have audio file compressed you will need a wav file or cda(music cd) to mp3 converter, if you search the net there are plenty of free or shareware programes
