Question about Televison & Video
Its the problem of power supply board in the tv.there is a safety circuit that gets short to avoid further damage.the noise which you are getting is of safety circuit getting short evrytime you turn the tv on.to avoid further damage donot on the tv till it get repaired.as the sdafety circuit is getting short more and more every time you turn the tv on.
the cost of this reparing will be near to $50 if the safety circuit is got shorted.but as if you have turned the tv on again n again it can be possible that the safety circuit has shorted the power supply board too.
if that is the case then the cost will be near to $150 for the replacement of the board .if the tv is too old its not worth fixing.but if its just 3-4 years used tv then the tv has more life in it get it repaired its very much advisable and its worth reparing.
