Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
When i turn on my Sansa e260 MP3 Player the spinwheel lights up but the screen doesn't come on.. it stays black im not able to see anything like the logo,my music... I have tried alot of things i hold the power button down until it turns off.. i have tried to put it in recovery mode but nothing shows up just a blank screen im out of ideas does anybody else have some...
Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted. http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool. - Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - Slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer. Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted. Best of Luck.
