Question about Panasonic TH-42PD50U 42 in. Plasma EDTV
Hi, I went to clean the Plasma screen the other morning as there were finger marks on it. I noticed a particularly dense area of marking on the top right of the screen. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to clean the screen as usual with a plasma cleaner I bought and had used before. I was horrified to see the area 'melt' and a film seemed to be peeling off the screen. I stopped wiping but there is now a 'hole' in the coating of the screen. Is there anything I can do? My husband suggested just cleaning the whole thing off, thanks for any suggestions. Pat
I'm reading it and i did it again, to give you the advise. the plasma screen is glass that's sure, then:
The actual problem is really simple. because i remember my last jobs with plasma and this is actually a film protector the manufacture use when the part is not installed yet in the actual tv set.
