Question about Scytek 2000RS Remote Control
I have the Galaxy 2000RS 5 button remote. The doors lock when I start the car (Kia Sportage) It never used to but this winter we had a little problem with -30 degree weather and a dead battery, after that the doors just started locking. How do I get it to stop?
The unit can be programmed to lock the doors after starting, to make it leave it alone you have to enter the programming(ignition on, press the valet switch 5 times within 5 seconds, the lights will flash 3 times to signal you have entered programming, then press valet switch 10 times(lock after start setting) within 5 seconds hit the unlock button on the remote (button closest to the side with the other buttons)
then turn off the ignition to save the settings and it should be done
manual for the system is found at scytek.net under the download section
