Unrecognized card in slot 1 ppc

I have an iPAQ 2210 pocket pc running wm 2003. I have a symbol spectrum24 wirelless card(model number la-4137). I downloaded the driver from the symbol site. Everything worked fine. Then one day, my pocket pc reset.Everything was gone. I still have the driver saved on my pc. But when I load it on to my Pocket PC, I get the "Unrecognized card in socket 1" screen. I have the driver installed on it but it doesnt detect it. What do I do? I reset my pocket pc and tried re-loading the software multiple times. Please help me!!!

SOURCE: Can I upgrade a Symbol PDT8100 from Pocket PC 3.0

PDT8100 can be upgreded to pocket pc 2003, however you will need to purchase a license to do this. Once you have the license, you will get the required files to update it.

You will need a cradle , cable and power supply to do this.

Palce where to insert sim card

It's not a phone. It's a pocket PC.
CAUTION: For synchronization to work properly, install Microsoft
ActiveSync on your personal computer before you connect your
iPAQ Pocket PC to your computer.
To install a CompactFlash (CF) or Secure Digital (SD) card into
an expansion slot on the iPAQ Pocket PC:
1. Locate the appropriate slot on the top of the iPAQ Pocket PC.
To identify slot locations, refer to the Getting Started
document that came with the iPAQ Pocket PC.
2. Before inserting a CompactFlash (CF) card into the CF
expansion slot, pull the plastic slot cover from the CF slot.
3. Insert the expansion card into the appropriate expansion slot
and push the connection edge of the card firmly into the
expansion slot.
✎If your expansion card is not recognized, follow the card
manufacturer’s instructions to install it.
✎For more detailed help, refer to the Help files installed on your
iPAQ Pocket PC. From the Start menu, tap Help > Connections.
✎To prevent power loss, remove any expansion cards from either
the CF or SD expansion slots before turning off the iPAQ
Pocket PC.

I know, didn't even solve the first problem (just explains why it doesn't work the way it 'should' work) and creating another...
