    Do the following step by step;

    1: Ping local IP address of your DSL modem with -t command, eg, ping 192.168.1.1 -t or ping 192.168.0.1 -t Check status.

    Next parallel step;

    2: Ping NS (Name Server) IP address of your DSL service provider with -t command. To get NS IP address, write nslookup in RUN or command prompt. Check Status.

    Next parallel step;

    3: Ping yahoo.com -t Check status.

    1: If local IP of DSL modem is pinging perfect and without Request time out, it means your modem is OK, if there is sequential data lose after some replies, it means your modem is not functioning properly because of excessive room temperature, or, modem is malfunctioning due to misconfiguration, or, modem is malfunctioning due to software or hardware issue, change patch cable of DSL modem to CPU. IF you knew your default configuration of DSL modem, you can RESET your modem and do these 3 steps again or contact your Service Provider.

    2: If local IP ping is perfect and NS ping is with sequential data lose, might be because of DSLAM Port hanging issue, Contact your Service Provider.

    3: If local IP and NS IPs are replying perfect and pinging yahoo.com is with sequential data lose, Contact your Service Provider.

If im going to open my internet explorer, it will display "working offline

it could be that your IE is set to "Work Offline" or it tried to connect but didn't find a connection setting.

1. Try to configure your internet setting
a. Go to control Panel -> Internet Options - > Connection Tab then LAN settings, then click on "Detect connection automatically

if it still dont work, do this:

2. Open your Internet Explorer, Click on FILE the click on "Work Offline" at the near bottom and hit RELOAD/REFRESH (or press F5)

I cannot get offline when I install Internet explorer 8, it always says not responding. So I have to go to my windows task manager and keep clicking on the not responding so I can get offline. Or turn off...

If you are using the beta version, this is a normal scenario. If you are using IE 8 latest check whether you have downloaded the proper version which suites your windows platform. Go to add remove programs-> windows components and select internet explorer to remove it. Then re-install the new one. Make sure you patch it usually.

My HP Deskjet D2360 keeps going offline. What

First try reinstalling drivers for your printer from original CD, if that doesn't help update your drivers from the Internet.

If none of it helps, try connecting your printer to another computer and see if it will behave the same. If it does, then printer is ready for retirement.
