Question about Computers & Internet
I just installed ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid Ibex) dual booting with windows vista
ubuntu wont detect my Dynex 802.11g Wireless-G Desktop Card.
anybody got any ideas and a rapid response would be a great help
You can try looking in the manufacturer website to see if they have made a driver for Linux. Actually, most Linux distros have a nice set of drivers, but not all hardware out there have good Linux support.Surprisingly, Ubuntu 8.10 detected one CompUSA USB wireless adapter for which they don't have the XP drivers.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
