Water filter system leaks at tap

Whirlpool reverse osmosis filter system WHER12 System started leaking around the base of the faucet assembly that fastens to the sink. The leak stopped when I cut the water supply off. It starts again regardless of whether the tap is on or off. Any suggestions?

The line from the faucet to the drain was plugged. I cleared the line and the system is working well.

Thanks for the update. I read the same advice on a different site. I also tried tightening the connection where the faucet attaches to the sink. I think it's working well now, though I'm not sure yet, and which adjustment fixed it.

Kinetico reverse osmosis water flowing very slow

I am guessing you have checked to make sure the water flow into the osmosis system to make sure it is at proper pressure? If so is this a whole house system or just for the kitchen? If it is a whole house do you have the same problems in other parts of the house?

Water is leaking around base of "spout" and

If you have properly replaced the diverter assembly, there is either a problem with valve or debris was left in the valve from old diverter when new diverter was installed. Disassemble diverter by pulling spout back off. remove new diverter and check valve. Cup your hand over faucet and turn cold water handle on to attempt to flush any debris left behind. Try several times then reassemble. If this doesn't do the trick then replace. Get a quality filtering system and take care of your new faucet by making sure it's dry and polished after use. You won't be replacing your fixtures as often from calcium and corrosion.

Leaks on the top of black box of culligan water softner under sink system

Is this a reverse osmosis drinking water system? If it is it is an H8 RO. If so shut the water off that feeds the RO. The leak is probably coming from one of the fittings, they can be cut by the compression fittings and leak.

I want to unhook my reverse osmosis how do u do that and what are the steps

Here are the steps to remove your RO system. Put a pan and a couple rags under sink to catch any water that might spill.
1. Label all the lines from RO (with masking tape) to remember where they go.
2. Turn the water off to RO system
3. Run all the water from the RO tank
4. Turn the valve off on RO tank.
5. Remove the line to the RO tank and pull tank out.
6. Remove the line to the RO drain.
a. If there is an AIR GAP faucet this line may go there first
b. plug the whole for RO drain or replace the standpipe
7. Remove the product line from RO faucet
8. Remove the water line feeding the RO system.
9. Make sure the valve feeding RO is shut off completely
a. If this valve is a piercing valve you may want to consider replacing the section of copper
plumbing because it will eventually leak if left unused.
10. When re-installing the RO remove old filters, sanitize system and replace with new filters.

That is the drain for the reverse osmosis system. You have what is referred to as an AIR GAP faucet. The waste water is pushed up there before it goes to drain just as the drain for a dishwasher does. If water is coming out of the faucet the drain is most likely plugged or the line is kinked causing water to back up and overflow. Check the drain line for kinks and clean out the drain where it attaches to the stand pipe.

no "slug" is available however you could just use a reverse osmosis diaphram pressure tank to boost the water pressure. you can also use a water supply tube to bypass the in-refrigerator completely.

There is a blue cap on the body of the white pressurized water tank. Twisting off the blue cap, you will see a air nozzle - similar as those on the tire. You need to pressurized the tank to 60 PSI. I spend hours to figure out this solution on my own system.
