How to install windows it's showing there is no hard disk in the system pls help me

If the BIOS does not detect the hard disk, then reseat the hard disk and then check the BIOS again.
The hard disk maybe faulty, if so you need a replacement.
If the BIOS detects the hard disk and you are installing Windows XP then -
The problem is that XPinstallation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on adisk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then,XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP.The FIX.Go into the BIOS anddisable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is aIDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows hasbeen installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver),then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

It is not formatting., please help me

hi

follow these instructions

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Windows installation media (and product key)
  • Manufacturer software
  1. Ensure that the hard disk is installed properly in the laptop. The drive cannot be formatted before it is installed, or if it's not installed correctly.

  2. Gather the required software. The type of media will depend on the hardware in your laptop. Older computers without a CD-ROM drive, will require the use of the operating system floppy disks. Laptops that can run Windows XP require the installation CD and product key. Older versions of Windows also have disk-formatting capability in the installation process, and the installation media is either a CD or floppy disk.

  3. Place the installation disk or manufacturer software in the drive and then boot the computer. Early in the installation process, the Windows installer has a step that will detect any installed hard disks and allow for them to be formatted. The software from the disk manufacturer will also detect the hard disk and give you the option to format the drive.

  4. Determine which file system is to be used. Windows XP will either work on a NTFS file system or an older VFAT file system. Choose the desired file system when prompted.

  5. Decide whether the whole disk should be formatted or if the disk will be partitioned and each partition to be formatted separately. The Windows installer includes a menu-driven utility that will create hard disk partitions before formatting. If the hard disk is being formatted to replace an existing Windows installation, delete the existing partitions and re-create them.

  6. Format the hard disk with the Windows installer when prompted. The Windows installer will let you know when it is time to format the disk and ask for confirmation.

this should help you.

Installation of XP MCE won't finish

You need to set the pc to boot from the install disk. Then it should detect the failed install. Either select a new location or over write or format the disk and install.
Trying to recover from a failed install is usually far more trouble than its worth. You usually end up with a unreliable install and nothing but headaches.

Hard drive

You need to use a Windows install disk, or the computer recovery disk.

At startup of new windows installation, chose new installation and then chose the option Format hard drive.

Note: the windows install disk must be bootable, Upgrade install disk (non bootable) does not have the format option.

Your going to take your disk (if muiltiple disks, then take the first disk or any disk that says something like "install" on it or something) and simply insert it into your CD-ROM drive. A screen is going to pop up. It should be a GTA San Andreas screen. There should be a button that says "install". Click that and simply go through the process. If there is any option, once you press the "install" button, to do a default or standard install or a custom install, just choose default or standard. The game should start to install. If there are multiple disks then in the middle of the install its going to ask for the other disk(s). What you do is when the window pops up asking for another disk, just eject the disk that is already in your computer and insert the other one. Once the other disk is in, close the CD-ROM drive and it should continue the install.
