Well, you can't put songs on your mp3 player with lime wire. Take the songs that you downloaded from it and drag them in your MP3's MTPMEDIA folder.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Open Windows Media Player and see if Windows Media Player will recognize the player. If not, change the USB mode to MTP mode per the manual's instructions.

Not supported format

Well whats happening is the mp3 player doesnt support that file but if you go to Windows Media PLayer somtimes it will actually change the music format. Or if you're downloading your tracks you could try getting your tracks off cd's. When you downloading songs off the internet I'd suggest using Lime Wire.

When you try to play it the screen should say locked. Push the bottom button that says hold and the screen should say unlocked. Hope that helps. I just bought the same MP3 player and am liking it so far.

If the songs dont have media rights this mp3 player will not play them. Lets say you use Bear share, or lime wire. not all the songs have media rights. (legal rights)
