You can download a manual for your Murray here:
This is in .pdf format so you must have Adobe Reader or equivalent available.
FYI: Murray remnants have been bought by Briggs & Stratton so engine parts are no problem, everything else is sketchy.

SOURCE: how do you replace the
Hello, I hope I
My name is Dane and I'll try to help you with your problem. Well, I don't have any idea which mower you have, but they're all basically the same. I think you're probably having problems getting the belt off from around the engine pulley. First you will have to remove the deck belt from the engine pulley. It should just pull off pretty easy. To remove the drive belt, you will have to drop the engine pulley down far enough for the belt to come off and the new one to go on. You will need to release all tension on the belt by depressing and locking the brake, and remove the belt from the tensioner. Find a socket to fit the bolt inside the center of the pulley, and remove it by holding the pulley with a strap wrench or other means. If you have an impact wrench, you can use it to remove the bolt without holding the pulley. You have to be 100% POSITIVE that your impact is set on the "loosen" setting before trying to remove the bolt. NEVER EVER use it to reinstall the bolt. You can overtorque the bolt easily, stripping the threads and your engine will be worthless. After removing the bolt attempt to slide the pulley down. You can use a little pressure to do this, but you have to be very careful not to bend the pulley. Once the pulley is below the guard, you can remove the belt. If you have a one-piece belt going all the way back to the transmission pulley, you may have to remove the pulley on the transmission to get the belt off between the transmission and the frame also.
