Question about Cell Phones
Interested in purchasing the lg kc 910 renoir. my question is how does the gps thing work. do i have to connect to tbe internet, does it simply work off satelites like car ones etc?
Hi. The GPRS(56kbs) is used to connect your device to internet to browse and retrieve emails. It's the 1st generation of "high speed" connection. Then there's a EDGE (238kbs) often called 2.5G network.Renoir should support 3G (speed 384kbs) with HSDPA(3.6MBs). Basically it's to same as GPRS just up/download speed is different. To have it in working order you'll need correct settings includes :APN,password etc. In most cases thei are preinstalled on your device.
Rate me if helped.Thanks.
