Sounds like you've done your research. I'm having the same problem. Our doohickey for the rear hub is also missing. I'll post a solution if I can find an answer.

Call Instep 800-242-6110 select option for replacement parts. They were able to replace a part on my bike trailer that is 7 years old. Hopefully they will be able to help you.

Some have a clamp that attaches to the frame part called the left chain stay - goes from the cranks to the rear hub. Some attach to the seat post. Google "child bicycle trailer." to see examples.

Windsor Wellington 2.0 serial number location on the bike

Serial numbers are typically on the underside of the bottom bracket (where the cranks go through the frame), on the left rear dropout (where the rear hub axle is attached to the frame) or sometimes on the bottom of the head tube (where fork goes through frame). Serial number is typically useful only for registering a bike in case of theft or for recalls.

What is the o d on rear hub

Need better wording/explanation of the question - why do you need the info? The hub is merely the center part of the wheel - to which the spokes are attached, as well as the cog(s) that drive the bike from the chain. The outside diameter of the hub is not very important.

Have an older Huffy female 12-spd road bike that is missing the rear wheel assembly. Looking to find a replacement as well as instruction manual...wheel assy. more important. Thanks.

Unless you have a deep sentimental connection with the bike, it may not be with it:
Rear wheel - $35-$45
Rim strip/tape - $1
Tube - $8-14
Tire - $10-20
Gear cluster - $25-40

New Huffy is about $150-250

You might be able to find a used bike or wheel at a garage sale that would work.

There are several different varieties of rear coaster brake hubs. The most common is a "Shimano". The easiest way to tell you how to reassemble is by referring you to either Utube, put "shimano coaster brake in search box or go to SheltonBrown.com. Again enter the shimano in the search.

The coaster brake on bike doesn't work, when pressing the pedal back, it just rotates and the brakes don't grab. What could the cause be?

Perhaps the torque arm is not attached to the chainstay. The torque are is a metal bar about 3 inches long X 1/2 inch wide, and the chainstay is the tube of the bike frame that runs from the pedals to the rear wheel hub. There is usually a little metal clip that wraps around the chainstay and is attached to the end of the torque arm with a small bolt.

REAR BRAKE

If I remember correctly there should be holes in the hub with set screws to tighten the hub to the axle. The ones I built had square headed bolts. The reason is that the hub can be moved from side to side to better adjust how the chain lines up for shifting. If there are no bolts or set screws but the holes are there you can take the hub to a fastener place to obtain some. Hope this helps.

If the gears will no longer go back on the bike, I would recommend buying a new wheel (including a new rear hub). It is usually easier and more cost effective to buy a wheel than to replace the hub. To replace the hub (the part that is stripped on your bike) you would also have to remove and replace spokes, etc. Search online for the wheel size you need (probably 26" - you can check the tire size) or take to a reliable bicycle shop and they will gladly help you. Anyway, you need a new hub but probably better off getting a new wheel - much easier.
