I am using LAPTOP comapq presario V3000,since last 1yrs.can i use tunner card in this for watching televison with cable connection?

Make sure your wireless switch is turned on. On most computers, there is an LED light that glows blue when the
wireless device is turned on and enabled, and glows orange when off or

If your switch is on and the light is blue, you may have a driver problem. Go into device manager and uninstall the drivers for the wireless card and re-install them. You should look on the HP web site for an up to date driver. You can connect ti the internet with this machine by plugging in a Cat5 ethernet cable between the port on your router and the port on the laptop. A blue or yellow cable should have come with the router.
Have a look at the label on the bottom of the V3000 laptop and check the voltage and amps power rating of the laptop.
If the DV9000 adapter has the same voltage and current rating (amps) or higher amp rating then it is suitable for the V3000 laptop, provided the power plug fits the V3000 power socket.

Normally, a TV tuner device (card/USB) is required to be able to receive and therefore watch TV program(s) on any computer. What TV/Capture card is being used? Additionally, on what Operating System and is it cable TV or aerial antenna.
Do you mean it will not connect if so then is the tuner compatible to your Laptop. I think the TV tunner cards is a thing of the past. Correct me if Im wrong but the in thing is watching TV over braosdband and there are thousands of free to air over the net. Can you be a bit more specific...
