Everything is connected correctly... bought the amp brand new out of box yesterday....it worked for about 10 mins then it went out...power light on amp is on but no sound from my sub. Checked all fuses and connections and everything is tight and in good shape. All my other car audio is working except for my brand new amp. WTF.

Either something in your amp burned up, or the audio wires going from your cd player to your amp are bad

I just bought a hifonics amp the brz2100.1D and when i tryed to hook it up every thing is correct as far as the wireing compared to the manual and the blue lights come on power light is on but its not...

MAKE SURE YOUR GROUND WIRE IS GROUNDED GOOD,,AND IT IS IMPORTENT TO HAVE YOUR REMOTE WIRE HOOKED UP. IT WILL BE A BLUE WIRE,,FIND THE HOT WIRE FOR YOUR TAIL LIGHTS AND HOOK IT THERE THEN WHEN YOU TURN YOUR CAR ON THE AMP WILL ALSO COME ON.THAT SHOULD STOP ALL THE NOISE AND POWER YOU UP.

The light is red and no bass is coming out of my subs

The Amp Is Most Likely In Protection Mode... 2 Ways To Figure Out Whats Wrong With it Is Check Every Single Wire And Make Sure That Every thing Is Hooked Up Correct And There Are No Bad Connections With Ur Remote Wire, Ground Wire, And Battery 12v Wire, Rca Cables As Well. If Every Thing Checks Out Good Then Try Checking The Fuses And Make Sure u Are Using The Correct Fuses That Are Good For That Amp. If U try These 2 Things And You No Your Subs Are Hooked Up Correctly Then The Worst Is Probably There. I Had The Pioneer 7200 Amp And It was A Blown Amp And The Red Light was Constantly On. No Sound No Nothing. If U Try Those Steps And it Still Does Not Work Then Most likely Your Amplifier Is Toast. Hope This Helps :-)

I have this hooked up and works fine with the key on, but when i start the car, sub light, amp and sub dont come on.

You have connected it to the wrong power wire - one that is only active in service mode - first key position.
You should draw a wire directly from the battery (don't forget to add a 40 amps fuse on the wire) to the amps. If you don't want them constantly operational (you will have to manually shut them down) install a relay on the wire with the command coming from a wire from the instrument key position - second position of the key. Use a voltmeter to identify the wires.

Power light comes on but no sound :(

Good amp but gave me nightmares because of cliping and power protect. if wired correctly then your sub might be blown check subs by using a multimeter and check ohms. No ohms means its blown. Ohms vary between subs. double check Rca inputs as well I just hook up my comp speakers to do this.

Amp burned out but fuses still good?

this is caused by inproper wiring from the speakers/subs to the amplifier.. an amp will still put out power to subs and speakers when it's wired improperly but it won't last for very long doing it... 6 months is longer than usual....

Subwoofers pop then immediately produce no sound

Sounds like the two subs wired together might be too much of a load on the amp and it is shutting off. Try wiring the two subs in series. That will reduce the load on the amp but will conversely put out less power. Less is better than none though. In any case check your amp to see what the lowest ohm rating it can see, that ohm rating is where you want your subs and if faced with a choice of either going under (lower numerically) or over (higher numerically) GO OVER!-it is much safer.
Here's an article I wrote that can help explain how to wire the subs to the amp.

OHM LOADS, SUB WIRING, OHM RELATED POWER OUTPUT

SERIES SUBWOOFER WIRING
Wire the positive pole from one voice coil (using wire that is as thick or thicker than your wire from amp to sub) to the negative pole of the other voice coil (on the same sub). This will leave you with a positive pole from one voice coil and a negative pole from the other giving you the two leads that will be hooked up to the amplifier or other subs. When wiring in series, the ohms will go up numerically, and the load on the amp will go down. Almost all amplifiers power output will follow this rule, except some amps such as JL Audio's “Ohm matching” D Class amps.

PARALLEL SUBWOOFER WIRING
Wire the positive pole from one voice coil (using wire that is as thick or thicker than your wire from amp to sub) to the positive pole of the other voice coil (on the same sub). Then wire the negative to the negative in the same way. You can then wire to the amp or other subs. When wiring in parallel the ohms will go down numerically, and the load on the amp will go up. Almost all amplifiers power output will follow this rule, except some amps such as JL Audio's “Ohm matching” D Class amps.

MULTIPLE SUBS USING SERIES AND PARALLEL WIRING
In order to match your amplifiers ohm rating you can use parallel and series wiring together, just keep things even for power distribution and to avoid phase issues.
Example: I have two “Type X 12” subs” that have dual 2ohm voice coils and have to match my “Amplifier X” ohm rating of 2ohms mono. In this case, I would wire each subwoofer in series (giving me a 4ohm load), and then wire the two subs in parallel to get my 2ohm mono load. When wiring multiple subs just, treat each sub as a voice coil and wire accordingly.

POWER OUTPUT AND OHM LOADS
For example if “Amplifier X” can make 100watts@8ohms, it would make 200watts@4ohms and 400watts@2ohms. However with every drop in ohms the amplifier is put under more pressure. It starts to create a lot of heat, distortion figures begin to climb, damping rates drop, and some amps even throw power spikes when clipping. SO BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR AMPS RATING AND DO NOT EXCEED IT!

Amp powers on but sub does not come on

I would double-check your RCA's on the amplifier. You should hear a thud if you unplug them. If not they are either not hooked up or defective.
