Question about Peavey AMPLIFIER, 1000 WPC, DDT, 8/4/2 OHMS => Model PV2000 Car Audio Amplifier
Damaged outputs and high wattage resistors on channel B were among initial problem.after replacing defective parts the clipping LEDS for ch B would come on as soon as amplifier is plugged in with no output on ch B
You missed something. Use the good channel (A) to compare resistance and or voltage readings against the defective channel. Obviously you've removed the dead short issues (AC fuse is holding) BUT your signal path is still askew. Any transistors/diodes under suspect should be removed from the circuit for proper testing....Glen
