Question about Alesis Sr 16 Stereo Drum Machine
A simple push to make release to break switch will do for the stop/start function like a roland dp2 damper switch ... Search google shopping for some decent prices or if your confident you could make your own from parts like a momentary footswitch or "non-latch" switch and some mono guitar cable and a mono audio plug and some boxing (I recommend this only if your confident with soldering and want to save a lot of money)
May I also add I have one of these drum machines at home and they are brilliant for getting the "Genesis" or what I like to call the "Phil collins" sound! But I never expected anyone to still be using one of those! Good luck in your musical persuits!
