Even is the water in the door is working you will have to replace the dual inlet valve for the fix. Your valve has 2 sides on it 1 for ice and 1 for water in the door.
It is not expensive and not hard to replace.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Kenmore by Whirlpool sxs water in the door. Ice maker 106.565424

The water control valve for the ice maker side is your most likely reason. If filling ice maker with tap water and allowing to freeze. If it dumps then the water control should fill. if not the valve is not working. Sea Breeze

Ice maker won't stop producing ice, even when bucket is full.

the arm that swing up and down maybe able to be ajst by bending arm and the water leaking down the icemaker. is it unlevel when if fills if not unlevel is it hooked up to an r/o system if it is when was the last time filter were replaced if not, does it have a water filter has it been changed lately.

Frigidaire water stopped working...ice maker.dispenser fine

You probably have an obstruction in filter compartment. you should remove filter and inspect o rings etc. or anything that could have clogged it up. The only other thing that could be the cause is a bad water valve. Side by sides have a double water valve. one for water ,one for ice maker. You can check this by having someone flip ice maker arm down so it calls for water and feel water valve as it runs and possibly hear it too. Hope this helps.

Kenmore side by side makes no ice

the water line coming into the freezer may be iced up. or the motor that spins the ice "ejector" arm may be stuck. try spinning it manually (just dont force it).

WATER WILL NOT GO INTO ICE MAKER. BUT IT DOES DISPENSE THOUGH THE DOOR

hi. thanks for the question. first is the arm on the ice maker up. or down . should be down.On the back of ice maker, a small tube, that lets water into the ice maker .sometimes it can freeze up .not allowing the water to flow ,in the ice maker .check that. the next check, is the water valve behind the fridge ,at the water source. thanks the appliance doc

Kenmore Ice Maker

Sounds like a water valve problem to me. Force the ice maker to cycle. (turn it off and let it get cold for at least an hour then turn it back on). Test for voltage on the ice maker side of the valve. The valve is usually in the back near the floor. Just follow the water line. Another solution. switch the wires on the water valve. then try the water dispenser and see if it makes the ice maker fill up. See if when the ice maker cycles water comes out the door. If the ice maker causes water in the door , replace the valve, If door switch causes ice maker to fill up replace ice maker again.
