Question about Philips 43PP9202 43" Rear Projection Television
When turned on the power button flashes red. The three crt's flash every 3 seconds or so but never fully turn on. It's like the TV resets itself every three seconds and just keeps cycling. I downloaded the service manual. Voltage from the AC input board is the correct 5V and the standby line goes low when the power is turned on to the unit. The service manual mentioned that I should measure 130V DC off of a connector from the Full Power supply panel. but this is where the problem shows up. I get 130V it goes to 0 and then back to 130 and continues to cycle. I measure at one side of one of the main transformers on the power supply panel and get ~150DC constant, but when I measure on the other side of the transformer I see the cycling problem. Does this sound like a bad transformer, or could it be one of the large value capacitors on the board?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
