Question about Garden
Replaced my fuel lines on poulan 2050 today. The large diameter line is a return line from the primer to the tank. The smaller diameter line is the supply line from the tank to the carb. You need to cut this line and run a second piece of small diameter line from the card to the primer. I'm not sure if it makes a difference which of the two stems on the carb is the inlet or outlet line. I used the top stem as the inlet, and connected the bottom stem to the primer. My chainsaw started right up. So I either got lucky or maybe it doesn't matter.

I recently replaced the fuel lines in my chainsaw. I ran a thin wire (about the size of one of the fine strings on a guitar) through the gas tank and poked a hole in the end of the fuel line with the wire and twisted it. I then nipped off the corners of the fuel line. I was able to easily pull the line back through the hole & into the tank because as you pull on the fuel line it stretches enough to reduce its diameter. Once its in the tank a ways you can grab it with your fingers and pull to the correct length.

Pull new large line down into tank on right side. add new filter, connect to top of carb. primer bulb labled carbthat line goes to the other carb nipple, then the other primer line goes to little line down into tank
