Question about Coby MP-C741 MP3 Player

Cracked screen i accidently sat on my rca opal and the screen is cracked the audio works fine i just cant see whats playing is there anywhere i can send it to be repaired

I would think not- These items a judged to be -disposable - like cheap media players and kettles and the like they are I would guess - buy it- break it - bin it

Audio book download
The RCA Opal supports Audible audiobook downloads almost exclusively. You can transfer audiobooks that are in mp3 or wma format, but they will not play like regular audiobooks - they will play as one continuous file. I would use Windows Media Player to transfer the audiobooks to the player, but you can drag and drop using Windows Explorer also.

RCA Opal Initializing Problem
our firmware went bad.
Just got to the RCA website.
http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/
search your make and model
download the firmware.
Then hook you mp3 player to usb device of your computer.
After mp3 is hooked to computer
Install the newly downloaded firmware.

My mp3 player is messd up!
silicone headphones it come with are screwed up! becaude I changed the headphones and the some sound clear again!

FF - This is a common problem with Audiobooks - there is no way around it on this player. Drag files to Audiobooks folder to get them out of the "music" folder

Lost usb to opal
Ah, this is the biggest fault with the RCA Opal: the dedicated USB cord. My suggestion: buy another one, take the USB cord out and return it to the store saying you opened it and you didn't get a USB....and that you'll buy another one at another store. i know it's sneaky, but that's the only way.

the screen shows black boxes and i put music on it no problem. just it wont play the music through headphones. It's rather old and ive upgraded to a better mp3 player. but i gave this one to my younger brother so he'd have something for music. but it doesnt work. if its not fixable then i'll just buy him a new one.

mp3 player problems My Coby mp3 player, after about three weeks starting giving me not authorized messages on 96/100 of my loading songs. It will not let me listen to them. It doesn't give a reason why either. I haven't erased the memory yet because it wasn't full and I didn't think that I should have to reload all over again. I upload from Napster. I am a memeber. Is it a programed "time out"? I hope not, I paid for the songs. Thank you for your help.
