Filters maintained clean.
Problem:
1) machine leaks water underneath after completing wash & rinse cycle
2) always washes a very long time ( approx. 3 hours to complete) regardless of pressing short cycle button.

- my washing machine leaks on all cycles irrespective of the fact that I clear out the lint button catch area on a regular basis. I may try the pump suggestion. - ljduffellAug 20, 2008

If it is leaking from the waste pump area it may be blocked by a small piece of clothing like a sock or something similar! This will also cause it to take too long to complete a cycle.
Remove the rubber hose onto the waste pump and check inside the hose and the pump, make sure the pump spins freely and that nothing is stuck in the hose pipes leading to the pump
