CD-RW We bought a Memorex CD-RW model number MRX523252AJEL. We have never used it because promptly after we bought it, we couldn't find the cords that connected it to the computer, or the product down load CD. Can we buy these somewhere?

Media player can't recognize codec

I thought that to. When you plug in your USB cord the computer will prompt that something happened but you can't see what. Well this is what I had to do. Go to your start button and go to "my computer" and just wait there. Now plug in your USB cord into your new Tascam DR-05. It will gives you a choice to use the USB power as a source of power, or for storage storage. Choose "storage" you will notice on your computer there is a new storage device, that is your DR-05. "Right click" your new storage device and click open. Then you will see a list like music, pictures, and so on. Click music. You will see your new files hiding there. Click on them and enjoy or remember where they are and send them to a friend or burn them to a CD and sell millions of them and make your second million. I say second million, if your like me I have given up on my first million. Enjoy, hope this helped.

Can i make a bootible usb for my dell diminsion 2400 i get a disskette 0 error seek failure

bootable USB guide, here we assume that you are using either Vista or Windows 7 to create a bootable USB.
1. Insert your USB (4GB+ preferable) stick to the system and backup all the data from the USB as we are going to format the USB to make it as bootable.

2. Open elevated Command Prompt. To do this, type in CMD in Start menu search field and hit Ctrl + Shift + Enter. Alternatively, navigate to Start > All programs >Accessories > right click on Command Prompt and select run as administrator.

3. When the Command Prompt opens, enter the following command:
DISKPART and hit enter.
LIST DISK and hit enter.
Once you enter the LIST DISK command, it will show the disk number of your USB drive. In the below image my USB drive disk no is Disk 1.

4. In this step you need to enter all the below commands one by one and hit enter. As these commands are self explanatory, you can easily guess what these commands do.
SELECT DISK 1 (Replace DISK 1 with your disk number)
(Format process may take few seconds)
Don't close the command prompt as we need to execute one more command at the next step. Just minimize it.

5. Insert your Windows DVD in the optical drive and note down the drive letter of the optical drive and USB media. Here I use "D" as my optical (DVD) drive letter and "H" as my USB drive letter.

6. Go back to command prompt and execute the following commands:
D:CD BOOT and hit enter. Where "D" is your DVD drive letter.
CD BOOT and hit enter to see the below message.
(Where "H" is your USB drive letter)

7. Copy Windows DVD contents to USB.
You are done with your bootable USB. You can now use this bootable USB as bootable DVD on any computer that comes with USB boot feature (most of the current motherboards support this feature).
Note that this bootable USB guide will not work if you are trying to make a bootable USB on XP computer.

boot from a usb drive

hope it helps

Control pod quit working i have a inspire 7800 is there a universal that i can use

I have the same set of speakers and it seems to be a common problem. I've noticed that I can usually get it to work again by disconnecting the power to the unit for 5 minutes and it'll start working again. If that doesn't work, unfortunately, the control unit is proprietary. You might have some luck if you contact Creative support.

Go to "Contact Us" > "Customer Support" > "Technical Assistance" > "Speakers" and provide a description of the problem along with the model number of the unit.

Need a replacement power cord for harmon kardon sound sticks II

its not that expensive for a power cord. they are running on 12v so you go and buy a 12v power supply with a jack that fits the speakers or you can just find a power supply at home if you have one that is 12v
