there is no problem in ur l.c.d. panel. first u go in control panel of computer and remove the first monitor from add remove and add the new monitor device as a plug and play monitor and then set the resolution than problem will b solved

The native resolution for that LCD is 1440x900. If you do not see that resolution in your display properties you can try to update the video driver. If it is still not displayed as an option you may need a newer graphics card. Many newer low end card support this widescreen resolution, so if you need to replace the card you will not need to spend a lot of money.

Are you using Windows Display Properties or the Intel driver to change resolution? Anyway, you might be able to resolve the issue by installing the latest driver here, as it has fixes for several issues in previous versions.
