This is not a problem! All it means is that you have about 41% toner left in the cartridge and you should be starting to look for another cartridge soon especially when it gets around 15% left.

I had a jam, upon clearing the jam, the printer will hang with the motor turning, and the display saing 'adding toner'. I changed the (new) toner, for a brand new one. Still message will not go away.

Leave the machine working to see the next message of Adding Toner. Usually the next message of "Adding Toner" is "Ready to Copy".
If the next message is "Add Toner", i suggest you to pull the new toner kit out and push it a little bit harder and check again.
If you power the machine off and on again, can you see what the message about toner is, Original or Unknown Toner is installed?

AO 41 TONER NO what toner

i think its becoz the toner is not detected as it has a coagulant of ink in it . better remove the toner and dip it in a mild hot water for some time and replace it after wiping the water. then check it whether it gives the same error message i don't think it will give it becoz that problem was there in my printer and now it s fine.

I have M1522n HP Laser printer and keep getting message 10.1000 supply memmory error can anyome explain what this means

The HP LaserJet 2300 toner cartridge has a smart chip on the top left side. This chip tells the printer when the toner is low.

Recycled toners do not or can not reset the chip, therefore when you use a recycled toner you may get toner low messages although the toner is good.

Also, you may get the 10.10.00 error. We have devised a work around to fool the printer into not displaying the message.

Place a stip of opaqe tape or paper or the chip. When the printer detects a non-standard cartridge press the green (go) button. It will then reset the LCD to Ready.

Found this info on a recycled manufacturer site.

Ready Memory Received

Dear guys, your toner cartridge is low and as a preventive measure, the unit stores the faxes in order to give priority to copying and printing. If you are using remanufactured cartridges, the unit might not be displaying the low toner warning.

Machine will not reset after toner replacement

Info code 45 really means Toner cartridge is not installed.Info code 41 is out of toner & code 43 is toner getting low. There are three connection points inside of the fax machine that tell the machine that a cartridge is installed. Open the cartridge door & remove the cartridge. Verify that the metal tabs on the right hand side above the drive gear stick out far enough to make contact with the cartridge. There should also be two wires that are located on the left hand side that also make contact with the cartridge. Try putting your used/empty cartridge in & see if your info code changes to a 41 or 43.If not, you may have a broken connection. I have found that some compatible cartridges for the panafaxes are missing metal tabs that make contact with the connectors. Compare a cartridge that worked to the one that doesn't to see if it's missing metal tabs. This is not an issue if you are using OEM. Good luck! I can be reached by email if you have any questions. bspier@carlsonsupplies.com
