Have been working with att tech to enable for wireless and cannot get this to do anything

Are you able to see any available wireless networks?

Make sure the wireless radio is on, the wireless switch should be located above the keyboard, it has the picture of a satellite.

I just moved to Memphis TN and got a new DSL account with ATT. When I try to use my laptop via the Netgear laptop shows "Another computer is using your IP address" and will not connect to Internet. I...

Your problem has nothing to do with ATT, it's internal's network problem. The message you get means that another computer uses the same ip address with your laptop and you can not connect. There are various ways to solve this problem. First of all reboot your laptop; most of the times it gets new ip address so the problem will be solved. If not check if it's able to reboot the other pc; the pc with the conflicted ip will get a message of error too so it is not difficult to locate which one needs to be rebooted. If neither of the above work, or if the problem come up again after some days, we have to change some settings but let's try the easy way first.

Airlink adapter and att router access problems

Make sure you have the most up to date drivers for both your mini usb adapter and your router.

The 64 bit version of windows 7 may not have the right driver for your equipment.

Will get better with time.

Good luck.

Email is not the first thing to try to test your network connection.
In the command prompt, simply type "ping www.yahoo.com" that should show you if you have a working network connection.
You might need to verify your network setup (Network SSID, WEP?WPA security password, etc).
