Question about Sony Ericsson Z300a Cellular Phone

Sleep problem: phone gets inactive

I've had this problem ever since i got this phone: people are calling me when my phone is on and the calls go straight to the answering service. Also, SMS may arrive from few minutes to several hours late. Only thing i can do is to keep switching the phone off and back on, apparently only then the calls come through as they should do and SMSs arrive in real time. But again, after X hours the phone switches into that annoying lazy mode. If i switch the sim card to another (older) phone, everything works smoothly. Also, I just got this phone from repair yesterday, basically the guarantee repair guys had just resetted the phone, re-installed and updated the software and claimed everything is now fine. And just this morning i missed an important work phone call since the call went straight to the answer, and i did not get the notification in SMS in time. does this sound familiar to anyone?

If the same SIM card works well in another phone ie. your calls come through OK, then the problem must be with the actual phone set.
If not, ie. your calls are diverted to your voice box (answering service) then cancel the divert.
Get the manual here:

SMS are not always delivered immediately that is down to the 'works overload'

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Hi. Inactive feature often means that there's a problem with your connection to the call pilot. Do you have lights on your call pilot? Did you assign a mailbox to the extension you're working on? Did you remember to connect the call pilot to a station port?

Free solution (SIM)unlock E900
Here follows the free solution to (SIM)unlock a Samsung E900, which worked for me.
- NSdongle crack + D800 USB datacable (PCB120BBE)
- Select C200 model
- Select right COM port (Windows XP -> Devicemanager -> Ports (COM&LPT))
(Not the COM port which you can find under 'Modems')
- Press 'UNLOCK'
And your Samsung E900 is unlock! (Well, mine was)

Can make outgoing calls but cannot receive calls. The caller to my phone gets a message of number unobtainable. phone is a nokia 2680 slide

Make sure all call diverts on your handset are cancelled or inactive.
If they are and it still does this, then it is a network issue, which means it cannot be fixed by you. You need to call your network/service provider, as the problem is at 'their end'

I have tried feature 981, 982, 983 etc. and I get the message "Inactive feature". What is the problem.

First make sure u r using Voicemail system which is either Star talk or call pilot.
If u r any one of this then only u can use F 981, 982 , 983 or 985. Its a feature code of voice mail.
If u r using either of this and still gettin inactive feature, then try with rebooting The Satr talk or call pilot i.e. switch off from mains wait for few mins and switch it back on.
After rebooting it will take 15-20 mins to boot up the system and after that u can use these feature.

Thanks.
Abhi
