Had the same problem. Take the back of the dryer off and vacuum were your lint trap is installed at. Once you take that plate off you will see the lint build up and you will be able to clean it properly.

We have a long dryer line to the out side vent... how do we improve drying time... line is clear and we clean the lent from the dryer frequently...also, clean lent after every use..

If you may want to look into installing a booster fan for your vent line.
It can really help in cases such as yours when the vent line is extra long.

Dryer Heating Problems

I have been getting a lot of problems with dryers not heating right. A lot of sloution have been that people have been cleaning out their heat vents from the dryer. If there is a lot of lent build up in the vent or in the vent hose, it will make the elements shuts of to early. Therefore it will not dry the cloths like it should.

Maytag dryer will not restart immediately after drying a load. has to cool down

try cleaning out your dryer vent. Remove your lint trap and use a flexible wire brush to clean deep inside, then remove your dryer vent hose and make sure all lint is clean from the dryer side of the vent and the vent hose all the way to the out side vent.
Sounds like it may be clogged with a build up of lint

you might have a restriction in the exhaust system. check the entire exhaust vent tube/hose from the back of the dryer to the outside of the building for any restrictions. check the outside exhaust vent for any restrictions or obstructions. make shure the exhaust tube/hose are as short and straight as possible any sharp curves or bends can restrict air flow.

Not drying completly seems not alot of lent on lent filter

Your rear connecting exhaust vent must be removed and cleaned out.
If it is the flexible vent material it must be un-kinked or mashed when reattached.
Run a 50 minute timed dry cycle with the vent completely off.
If the load dries OK,the connecting vent is the problem.

Dryer shuts down after 5mins and also has a random

I think the vent is pluged up or bent so that the lent is trapped in the hose. its getting too hot. don't use it anymore till you get it cleaned and check for lent build up in side. can cause fire.

We have a Kenmore 110 6092299 90 Series dryer. The motor still runs - but no hot air, at all. I've tried timed and heat dry. Nothing. It just tumbles and it takes 4-5 rounds to dry. At first we were told...

Sounds like the heating element or the thermo-cut off. A vent being clogged for some time, can cause too much heat to build up and make the element or cut off fail. These are the 2 most common things.

Dryer has heat..but very low temp , takes forever

Make sure that your vent pipe is completely clear of excess lent. It will not dry properly if the venting is not running freely. If the unit is cleared of lent, inside and out, the only other possibility is the thermostat is not reading correctly.
