Cb-6000dlx-w char broil bbq. (4646166) I purchased this bbq around 8yrs ago and believe it or not I have just taken it out of the box! however there are no assembly instructions with it!!! I have tried...

Barry, short of contacting Char-broil Customer Support 1-866-239-6777, I doubt there is one available.I checked my list of over 100 Char-Broil models and it wasn't on it. In addition, you may need to replace the Hose/Regulator that came with that model, as it probably won't fit today's grill tanks. But, it's not a big deal. You can pick one up at any hardware store or home improvement center that sells grills and accessories. The run about $30.00.

Good luck in your search and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Cleaning inkjet nozzles

Here's what I found here:

http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/x5150/eng/ug.pdf

Cleaning the print cartridge nozzles
To improve print quality, you may need to clean the print cartridge nozzles.
Clean the nozzles when:
• Characters are not printing completely.
• White dashes appear in graphics or printed text.
• Print is smudged or too dark.
• Colors on print jobs are faded or they differ from the colors on the
screen.
• Vertical, straight lines are not smooth.
43
You can use the operator panel or the Lexmark X5100 Series Solution
Center to clean the nozzles.
Using the operator panel
1 Load paper in the All-In-One. For help, see page 16.
2 Press Options until Cartridges appears on the display.
3 Press the right arrow until Clean appears on the display.
4 Press Select.
A nozzle page prints forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the
clogged nozzles.
5 Print your document again to verify your print quality has improved.
6 To further improve print quality, try wiping the print cartridge nozzles
and contacts (see page 44), and then print your document again.
7 If print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles up to two more times.
Using the Lexmark X5100 Series Solution Center
1 Load plain paper in the All-In-One. For help, see page 16.
2 Click Start Programs Lexmark X5100 Series Lexmark X5100
Series Solution Center.
3 Click the Maintenance tab.
4 From the Maintenance tab, click Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
5 Click Print.
A nozzle page prints forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the
clogged nozzles.
6 Print your document again to verify your print quality has improved.

7 To further improve print quality, try wiping the print cartridge nozzles
and contacts (see page 44), and then print your document again.
8 If print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles up to two more times.
Wiping the print cartridge nozzles and contacts
If the print quality does not improve after cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles, dried ink may be on the nozzles or contacts. To wipe the print
cartridge nozzles and contacts:
1 Remove the print cartridges. For help, see page 38.
2 Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with water.
3 Hold the cloth against the gold nozzle area for about three seconds.
Gently blot and wipe dry in one direction (this prevents the colors in
the color cartridge from mixing).
4 Hold a clean, damp section of cloth against the contacts for about
three seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry in one direction.

5 Let the nozzles and contacts dry completely.
6 Reinstall the print cartridges, and then print your document again.
7 If the print quality has not improved, try cleaning the print cartridge
nozzles up to two more times.
8 If print quality is still unsatisfactory, replace your print cartridges. For
help, see page 38.

Small hole in brake line near left rear tire

unfortunately the only thing you can do is replace it. no one makes pre formed lines so you can either remove the damaged one, and take it to a parts house, match the length, and fittings then take it home, bend it by hand which is very easy to do you don't need a bender so don't waste your money on one, and bleed the brakes. or you can track one down at a wrecking yard that came off the same rig. their are no way to patch these lines, I have temporarily fixed them before by completely cutting it in half where the hole is located, and then buying a brass union fitting at a local parts house and splicing it. I would not recommend this for a permanent fix

Using ceramic briquettes with lp gas grill

Many people enjoy using Lp/gas grills for their ease of use and efficiency. Frustrations caused by flare ups and hot spots encourage the use of a wide variety of briquettes and other products. Ceramic briquettes are most commonly used because they provide an even heating surface and last for several uses.

  2. Gas grills most often use ceramic briquettes, lava rocks or, more recently, ceramic tiles in order to distribute heat. Ceramic briquettes come in the traditional shape, lava rocks are similar to those used in landscaping, and tiles only differ from briquettes by shape. Traditional charcoal briquettes can be used, though they maintain several disadvantages. Use
  3. Place briquettes, tiles, or lava rocks in a solid layer on a screen between the heating element and the grill surface, making sure to leave space for air to circulate. Light the grill and check to make sure that all areas of the heating element are covered, filling any empty spaces. Advantages
  4. Ceramic briquettes, tiles and lava rocks all serve the same purpose. The advantage comes from their ability to reduce flare-ups and hot spots. They can also be used several times, minimizing set-up and making cleaning easier. Traditional charcoal briquettes are cheap and easy to find. They also provide the smoky flavor associated with traditional charcoal barbecuing. Disadvantages
  5. Ceramic briquettes, tiles, and lava rocks are not as easy to find as traditional charcoal briquettes and are more expensive. Traditional charcoal briquettes do not repel run-off from food, but rather retain it, causing hot spots and flare ups. Charcoal briquettes also need to be replaced after each use and are harder to clean up. Warnings
  6. Any additional product placed inside a lp/gas grill should not come in contact with the heating element. Doing so can cause increased stress to the grill, as well as clog vital gas ports. Always maintain a clean grill. A buildup of old briquettes can cause inadequate performance.

Automatic ice maker has a steady drip of water in the freeze, turned off water source, but still dripping

It is possible that the Ice Maker water valve and the Shut off valve are both leaking. Try disconnecting the water line, turn the valve to the right to be sure it is off first. If the line drips then you will know your cut off valve is bad or not. Also clean the coils under the box while it is out it will improve its efficency over all. Replace any panels you remove to clean, use a vac with long extension as dust is quite nasty.

Regulator Repeatedly Reduces The Gas Flow

The new regulators will automatically shut down or reduce flow if the it senses that the flow is too high (as in a line leak or break). It can also be folled if you open the valve too quickly. There is a special plastic plug that can reset a tripped valve in the new tanks. (Mosquito Magnet supplies one with their product).

The other thing is that there is a recall going on at Char Broil of defective thermometers that are reading too low.

I have a Performance series - model 463362006 ; 3 yrs. old... plenty of gas in the tank, but won't heat up beyond BBQ --- what to do???

Your symptom sounds like a clogged or maybe rusted out burner.

You will need to disconnect the tank and totally remove the burners that are at the bottom of the unit. Inspect all of the burner holes for any blockage or foreign material, I have found that these burner holes can be clogged by grease and insects.

When you reassemble it make sure that the air mixture holes towards the valves are clean and clear as well, if they are not letting enough air in or too much air you will get less than favorable results.

If you find that they are rusted out too bad, you should be able to go to any home improvement store and find a replacement or a universal replacement.

While you are in there check out the igniter, if you have been having any trouble with it this would be a good time to replace it. You can go to any home improvement store and find a replacement or a universal replacement

We have a micro/convection oven and the "protective cover" on the inside right hand side of unit SPARKS and FLARES UP when we try to heat something up. What's that all about?? Our model # is...

Quite often this is due to grease or food particles stuck to the inside of the oven or stuck on or behind the waveguide cover.

The cover and the metal behind it should be cleaned with a mild, non-ammonia cleaner.

If the cavity metal of the oven is chipped or charred, it will have to be sanded smooth and clean and dried thoroughly.

Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Builder's Square.

If your waveguide cover is burned, it will need to be replaced.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
