Question about HP Compaq Presario F750US
I purchased compaq notebook CQ45-207TU. As per the recommendations of HP I upgraded BIOS and after that the fan is constantly running fast and the touch pad also gets heated. However one of my friend has installed an old version of BIOS(of which i am not sure the factory installed BIOS). At present the fan has stopped going fast however it runs after an interval of 10-15 minutes. Pls post solution at firstname.lastname@example.org . Also if you could provide me the original factory BIOS version.

You bios versions start at f.03,f.04,f.05, f.07, f.08,,,
The date and version that you posted does not match and bios version for your model.
The only reason you update a bios is if it falls under the problems
listed for the new bios to correct.
Say your lap came with f.05, the only reason you would update to f.07 is because you had a graphic error, that the new update fixed.
The link below is the page for your drivers, if you look at bios,it shows the newest,if you click on version, you will see all the ones
that where made.
You should double check to make sure that you have the right bios version.
