You bios versions start at f.03,f.04,f.05, f.07, f.08,,,

The date and version that you posted does not match and bios version for your model.

The only reason you update a bios is if it falls under the problems
listed for the new bios to correct.

Say your lap came with f.05, the only reason you would update to f.07 is because you had a graphic error, that the new update fixed.

The link below is the page for your drivers, if you look at bios,it shows the newest,if you click on version, you will see all the ones
that where made.

You should double check to make sure that you have the right bios version.

try to use other hard disk. if it works on your machine then your OS is corrupted. You might need to reformat your hard disk.

Before reformatting your hard drive safe all the files first because everything will be deleted.

Nx6110 upgrade from 1.4 to 2.13cpu now I have overheating of cpu

if the processor you are using is supported by your system model, check the manual or tech specs if replacing the heatsink is also recommended when you upgrade the processor. updating the BIOS to the latest version may also help improve the fan's performance to help keep your system cool

Over heating of laptop

Causes of Laptop Overheating Physical Causes of Laptop Overheating
For a properly designed laptop, the most common cause of overheating is blocked air vents. When dust blocks the fans and air vents designed to cool your laptop, overheating results. (In some cases, blocked vents and poor design are related, as some designs are excessively prone to becoming clogged with dust).
Software Causes of Laptop Overheating
In other cases, laptops overheat because the software designed to protect the laptop – specifically by controlling the operation of cooling fans – does not work properly. In some cases, this is due to problems in the computer’s BIOS, and can be cured by upgrading to the most recent BIOS. In other cases, upgrading or changing the computer’s operating system can cause this software to not function.
If, for example, you have upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP, the system software designed to operate the fans may no longer work properly. (What’s worse, the laptop manufacturer may refuse to provide support in this instance, on the grounds that you changed the operating system and so are no longer operating the system as it was designed to operate.) In other cases, replacing Windows with Linux has led to this problem if the proper Linux utilities to control laptop cooling were not installed.
Design Causes of Laptop Overheating
In a distressing number of cases, laptop overheating results from poor design by the notebook manufacturers. Some manufacturers cram desktop CPUs into laptop configurations, and do not adequately provide for releasing the heat that these desktop CPUs create. Others simply have failed to provide ventilation and cooling systems appropriate for today’s CPU and video chips, which hold many more transistors than in the past and so generate more heat.
Several class actions have been filed against laptop manufacturers due to overheating laptops, including Toshiba and Dell. Previous class actions have led to settlements under which compensation was awarded to owners of overheating laptops who ran up repair bills trying to get the problem fixed. More class actions related to overheating laptop and notebook computers are reportedly under consideration.check here for more information http://www.fonerbooks.com/lap_fan.htm

Power on password problem

Notebooks are tough. Some systems, like Toshiba, have a USB based dongle you can purchase to reset the BIOS PC startup password. I'm not sure how Compaq does it, but I would recommend you contact HP/Compaq. It's likely that they will require you to mail it in for them to take care of.

Sorry, I can't be of more help.

HP Presario V2000 Laptop Turning off after a few minutes on

Sounds more like the CPU is over heating. This is a fairly common fault on laptops after dust hair etc build up in the fins of the heatsink from the cpu.
After it blocks up, the fan can not push air through it to cool the cpu down and so the laptop goes into thermal shutdown to protect itself.

HP Compaq nc6320 pc notebook issue

Paddy it seems windows login problem, may be you are not using correct user name or/and password or may be your password profile got currupted.

Anyway in your case as you have purchased it second hand, then you don't had have any specific program or file on the hard disk. So you can easily format your lap and installed new XP or Vista as per your requirement. It will solve your problem. But you should must have the device drivers to work and installed properly.

Yes if you will use new hard drive then you can install, but same things will be required as per above. So I will recommend you to install on same HDD don't buy new one.

If any problem, Just Ask me

Thanks
Iqbal
