My 6230i lost its sigal yesterday for no reason HELP! it was working perfectly then all of a sudden i never had a signal, when this normally happens i switch the phone off then back on and the signal comes back. This is not working now. When i use another persons sim in my phone the signal comes back and when i put my sim in someone elses phone they dont get a signal?

Did you check restarting your device? It happened with me also but the restart worked fine. If this does not work then try to put other sim card and check. If it happens again try resetting your device.

It is usually located near the fuse boxunder the dash on the driver's side. Simple way to find is go buy a new one and ask the counter peson to show the diagram showing its location. Cheaper than have a mechanic do it.

If nothing happen then call the service center, It only two months old.

When the DSL light turns red it indicates that the modem has no internet signal.
So please check if the cables are connected properly
Also ensure that there is a proper signal to your premises without any interference
This is called intermittent connection
If the DSL light turns red it indicates that there is a problem with the cables connected or the DSL line
Please check your DSL connection with ISP

There is on another reason that the modem might have gone bad.
If all the above steps are executed and if this issue still persists replace the modem

check for a break in the wiring on the left side of handlebar where wiring exits switch housing,sounds like wire(from headlight switch/signals) arcing to a ground(possibly handlebar)

Can any one tell me why there is a code on every card i insert in my 6230i. Its not same i other 6230i of my friends.

Turning off WAAS and then "Super Master Reset" (then reacquiring signal normally) did the trick for me. Note that it will wipe out ALL saved waypoints, so write 'em down before trying. This link describes it:

put it in GSM Mode.. not 3G.
