Question about Mad Catz GameShark2 for PlayStation2
I've bought a PS2 Gameshark2 1.3 used at the local game trade. The built-in codes work completely fine. I've tried to install a couple of my own codes (specifically Maximo:Ghosts to Glory and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy) All seems well at first, game name, code name, mastercode, etc. The MadCatz site says you have to save the code, shut off the game and reboot. It saves fine but when I reboot the code is different, both mastercode and cheat. Are these codes too old/new, faulty disk etc?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

a memory card is a memory card at the end of the day and mad catz is virtually just as good as the offical sony stuff. it is the memory card being faulty as it is not actually saving or showing up. try buying a new memory card
