Question about Washing Machines
Hi...i have a maytag frontload washer and there is a lot of water and suds leaking out the bottom and sides of the door. it is a circular clear door. inside there is gray stretchy lining around the door and this wire circle with a spring at the top came out of it. i know it must be the source of the problem and can probably manage to put it back in place myself...i just don't know where that place is! please help!
Yes you can do it. the door boot has come off the tub opening. first you will have to push on the door boot (gray rubber)on. There is a grove that slides into the metal opening in the washer. make sure the the door boot (gray rubber)lays flat against the outer opening. then with the spring at the bottom . start at the top put the wire in the rubber grove. until you get the the spring then pull down on the spring and tuck it into the grove.. I hope this helped [lease let me know if you get it... krazytech
