Question about Microsoft Word 2003 for PC
I have recently installed a previously purchased Microsoft Word 2003 on my new Dell (I purchased Word 2007 with my new computer). As I'm sure you are well aware, Word 2007 no longer allows a person to use AutoComplete as they did in the past (you must use F3 now to complete a stored entry) and I found it frustrating to do my job without it. However, after installing Word 2003, AutoComplete only works when the Insert key is engaged; if in Typeover mode, it is like the AutoComplete function is turned off completely and no prompts appear at all. I have used Word 2002 and 2003 for many years now, and during the course of my employment have used several computers with Word 2002 or 2003 installed and have never seen this problem.
